Job Description

As a DevOps Engineer focused on our platform, you will lead the infrastructure and functionality of our internal developer portal, supporting and developing integrations that enhance our platform and improve the developer experience. You will work closely with other teams in our center of excellence, (Integration Architecture, Security and QA) to take end-to-end responsibility for our cloud setups, CI/CD pipelines, and production systems, ensuring a stable and high-availability development environment.

In this role, you will ensure that the web applications are fully integrated with the companys internal services, such as infrastructure provisioning systems. You will implement custom templates and blueprints, review a high-quality catalog of APIs and components, and work with tools like EKS (AWS Elastic Kubernetes Service), ArgoCD, or Gitlab/GitHub Actions within a GitOps framework to optimize infrastructure management and continuous delivery.

Responsibilities/Tasks:

Design, develop, and improve integrations with other internal services.

Automate repetitive tasks at all levels, including testing, packaging, and dependency management.

Design and optimize CI/CD pipelines for Jenkins/Gitlab/Github workflows.

Monitor the platforms performance, security, and availability.

Collaborate on application cloud migration and orchestrated environment setups.

Work closely with software engineers to continuously improve our delivery, testing, and production platforms.

Qualifications

DevSecOps Engineer: Focused to integrate new features using plugins or doing small changes in all environments, included the deploy stage.

2. CI/CD Best Practices: Experience in setting up and maintaining build and deployment pipelines.

3. CD Technologies: Specialization in tools geared toward Kubernetes and public clouds, such as Helm, Terraform, and ArgoCD.

4. Container Orchestration: Experience with Kubernetes and container technologies such as Docker.

5. Cloud Platforms: AWS expertise is essential Azure is optional.

6. Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Proficiency with tools like Terraform and Helm.

7. Automation and Scripting: Developing scripts and self-service tools for automated operations.

8. Git and GitOps: Experience with GitHub and best practices in collaborative code management.

9. Apps Deployment: Experience in deploying applications and being able to resolve issues on the fly, being able to solve problems even within the application itself, in the context of communications, security, resources, etc.
