RESPONSIBILITIES

- Close collaboration with product stakeholders is required to
- Understand the requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and estimate the time and resources needed for these work packages
- The role includes developing and maintaining digital products by writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code, as well as participating in code reviews to maintain code quality and adherence to best practices, allowing for adaptability to changing conditions.
- Azure DevOps will serve as the central development tool for managing code repositories and implementing Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
- Continuous monitoring and testing will ensure the quality, scalability, and performance of developed products. Additionally, security measures and access controls will be implemented to ensure confidentiality and compliance.
- The role requires troubleshooting issues, continuously optimizing solutions for faster response times and stability, providing support in resolving any arising issues, and documenting development progress
- Identifying, extracting, modeling, integrating, and presenting data from various internal and external sources is a key responsibility.
- Active participation and contribution to development communities at BASF is expected, proactively sharing experiences and knowledge to foster a culture of innovation and transparency.

REQUIREMENTS

- Technical skills: Java, SpringBoot, SQL, PostgresQL Database, Azure DevOps, GitHub, Terraform, NewRelic
- Fields of Work: Documentation, Code Clean-Up, Code Optimization, Code Maintainability, UI Design and Usability Optimization, Technical Interface Maintenance, Continuous Improvements (CI/CD), Security Updates, Bug Fixing, Data Corrections, User Support
- Soft skills: Responsibility for the Product, Team skills, Openness for new ideas
