A Snapshot of Your Day As a Data Center Vertical Client Manager you play a crucial role in encouraging growth for Siemens Energy.
The position presents an outstanding set of challenges and opportunities, and days are filled with continuous relationship-building, strategic planning, and problem-solving.
In this role you will be the single face of the Grid Technologies (GT) organization's clients.
You will lead the account relationship, and be responsible for providing customers world-class service and support for the GT Portfolio.
The role can be based wherever in Europe.
How You’ll Make an Impact Main part of the role will be to meet the customers with the strive to seeking ways to address their needs and provide tailored and strategic solutions thanks to the deep understanding of the client's business objectives.
Negotiate and lead contacts and build collaborator relationships within multiple customers to effectively position Siemens Energy’s technologies and solutions.
Continuously identify new sales opportunities and focus on providing consultative sale support by building value propositions for Siemens Energy GT products, services, and solutions.
Support internal teams (technical sales, business) by offering account specific, market & driven insights and help develop compelling value proposition.
Your expertise and insights guide the teams in aligning their efforts with the clients' expectations.
The role needs to dedicate time to analyse the performance metrics of key accounts and also identify areas for improvement and potential upselling opportunities, strategizing for long-term growth, logging of with a sense fulfilment.
You are the focal point for the organization for knowing customer segment and customers specific needs and driving strategic plans for the GT organization with your key customers.
What You Bring Minimum of 5 years work experience with industrial and infrastructure application customers in a sales department or as an account manager Ability to build, grow and maintain strong executive relationships.
Excellent communicator (verbal and written), ability to lead and define strategy internally with multiple product lines in support of proposal responses and contract negotiations.
Proficient knowledge of English (written and spoken), Ability to travel 50% in Europe and on occasion internationally (mainly US).
Nice to have A degree in the engineering field (electrical mainly) will be considered a plus Experience with High Voltage generation, transmission and distribution products and solutions Good knowledge of French (written and spoken).
