DATA GOVERNANCE MANAGER

Your Purpose As a Data Governance Manager, you will lead the definition, implementation, and management of the company's Data Governance Framework, ensuring the highest standards of data quality, integrity, and accessibility across all business operations.
This role is based in (Geneva).
Your Impact Develop and implement a comprehensive Data Governance Framework to align with business and regulatory requirements.
Coordinate with departments to define and deploy roles such as data owners and stewards for critical data assets.
Design and roll out standardised data management processes and quality controls across all systems.
Lead initiatives for assessing and improving data quality to support strategic objectives and enhance operational performance.
Establish and manage a data inventory, ensuring accurate documentation and lineage of data assets.
Implement and maintain data governance tools, including metadata management, data cataloging, and quality monitoring platforms.
Collaborate with business teams to support ongoing data quality monitoring and data cleansing efforts.
Promote a culture of data stewardship and drive the adoption of data governance practices across the organisation.
Your Journey so far You hold a degree in Computer Science, IT Management, or a related field.
You have 5 to10 years of experience in data governance, data management, or related roles.
You have thrived in fast-paced environments, navigating complex organisational structures and driving change initiatives.
You have successfully led the implementation of data governance or quality management frameworks, contributing to operational and strategic goals.
You are adept at fostering collaboration among cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
Your Essentials Expertise in data governance frameworks, master data management, and industry best practices, including proficiency in data quality tools and platforms.
Proven ability to design and implement data strategies, delivering measurable improvements in data quality and operational efficiency.
Excellent communication skills, particularly in articulating technical concepts to non-technical audiences and influencing decision-makers.
Fluency in English is mandatory; any other language is a plus.
Leadership skills to guide cross-functional teams and ensure alignment on data governance objectives.
Experience working with metadata management tools, data cataloging systems, and related technologies.
Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
EU Passport or right to work in Switzerland.
