DATA ENGINEER

Your new company Technology Hub located in Barcelona Your new role Design, implement and optimize data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform Optimize and maintain a data warehouse in Google BigQuery Deliver actionable insights to business stakeholders through Looker Studio dashboards and other automated reports Support the other engineering teams by providing data for downstream consumption in the form of tables, views and table functions Create and maintain a data catalog for the domain data Manage access control for various data resources on the cloud platform through access control protocols Coordinate with the Product Owner, Business stakeholders and other consumers of data to define the requirements and design technical solutions to deliver the same Your Profile In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with various GCP services relevant to data engineering such as BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub and others is essential Very strong understanding of SQL and an ability to write complex queries is essential Strong programming skills in languages such as Python (preferred), Java, or Scala for building data pipelines, automating tasks, and implementing custom solutions is essential Proficiency in designing and implementing data warehousing solutions using GCP's BigQuery and other related technologies Extensive experience in building ETL pipelines to extract data from various sources, transform it into a usable format, and load it into data warehouses or other storage solutions is essential Familiarity with version control systems like Git and experience with DevOps practices for continuous integration, continuous deployment (CI/CD), and automated testing in a cloud environment is required Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders is required Understanding of data modelling techniques including dimensional modelling, normalization, and denormalization is required Benefits Young environment You will have a 10% of discount on the entire Brand Compensation package Flexible working time and combine home office and presential working Intensive workday every Friday and during summer Training budget to continue developing the skills you need most Language classes Location.
