Interpret data and analyse results using statistical techniques
Identify analyse and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
Work with management to outline the specific data needs for each business method analysis project
Filter and clean data and review computer reports printouts and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems
Work with the technology team to establish a system for data quality control
Develop and implement data collection systems that optimize statistical efficiency and data quality
Use predictive modelling to increase and optimize customer experiences revenue generation ad targeting and other business outcomes
Develop company A/B testing framework and test model quality

A successful Data Analyst should have
A degree in Mathematics Economics Computer Science Information Management or Statistics
Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (Business Objects etc.) databases (SQL etc.) programming (XML Javascript or ETL frameworks)
Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analysing datasets (Excel SPSS SAS etc.)
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect organise analyse and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
Adept at queries report writing and presenting findings

A competitive salary range of approximately 36 000 - 44 000 per annum
