DATA ANALYST

Where passion meets opportunity The best of your adventures is the one you have yet to sail! Your Purpose As the Data Analyst you will work on the company's data infrastructure and analytics strategy driving data-driven decision-making to support business growth and operational efficiency.
In this role you'll be responsible for designing and implementing data models managing analytics projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams to generate actionable insights.
This role is based in (MALTA).
Your Impact Lead the development and maintenance of data models reporting systems and dashboards that enable data-driven decision-making across the organisation.
Manage analytics projects setting clear objectives timelines and deliverables to meet business goals and support strategic initiatives.
Collaborate with multiple departments including marketing finance and operations to identify data needs and deliver insights that contribute to performance optimisation.
Conduct data quality assessments ensuring the accuracy and reliability of data used in reporting and analysis.
Utilise advanced analytics including predictive modelling and machine learning to forecast trends and provide proactive recommendations.
Oversee data governance practices ensuring compliance with industry standards and data privacy regulations.
Serve as a liaison to senior management presenting data insights and recommending strategies to improve efficiency and business outcomes.
Your Journey so far You hold a Degree in Finance/Statistics or a related field.
You have 3 to 5 years of experience in data analytics business intelligence or a related field ideally within a fast-paced business environment.
You have thrived in dynamic cross-functional settings effectively managing data-driven projects that support diverse organisational needs.
You have successfully led analytics projects driving insights that informed business decisions and strategy.
You have demonstrated proficiency in designing and implementing data models that support real-time reporting and decision-making.
Your Essentials Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools including SQL Python or other relevant analytics platforms.
Proven ability to interpret data and deliver insights that align with business objectives and support performance improvement.
Excellent communication skills particularly in explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and senior leaders.
Fluency in English is mandatory any other language is a plus.
Leadership skills to manage and mentor analytics teams ensuring project goals are met and insights are actionable.
Experience with data visualisation tools such as Tableau or Power BI as well as familiarity with cloud-based data platforms.
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams including IT marketing and finance to meet data and analytics needs.
