Their goal is to deliver cash into gig workers' bank accounts in a matter of minutes, helping them take on more jobs, manage unexpected expenses, and address cash-flow needs.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time remote role for a Credit Underwriter at Giggle Finance. Training will be based in Barcelona and preference is for the candidate to be based in BCN. The Credit Underwriter will be responsible for analyzing creditworthiness, cash flow, fraud, underwriting loans, and assessing financial risk. The day-to-day tasks of this role will include reviewing loan applications, analyzing financial statements and credit reports, verifying information, and making informed decisions on loan approvals. The Credit Underwriter will also communicate with applicants, gather additional documentation if needed, and ensure adherence to underwriting guidelines and regulations.QualificationsCredit Underwriting and Underwriting skillsAnalytical SkillsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsUnderstanding of loan processes and financial risk + fraud assessmentAttention to detail and ability to make informed decisionsExperience in financial services or lending industryAbility to work independently and remotelyKnowledge of industry regulations and complianceBachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related fieldGiven that Giggle is a US-based company, shift will be tailored to US Eastern Time (9AM-6PM ET) or 3PM-12AM CEST (Barcelona). This is inclusive of a 1-hour break. Company will provide training in Barcelona however beyond training the role is fully remote.
