We are looking for a passionate and talented individual to join our team as Country Procurement Buyer, who will be responsible for ensuring efficient Category Management Strategy deployment at country level, working jointly with Category Managers at Head Office and Africa Strategic Business Unit as well as detecting local sourcing opportunities to maximize the business performance.
Local sourcing mapping and assessment to feed and enrich Cat Mat Strategy Guarantee the efficient deployment of Category Management Strategies acting as main SPoC with suppliers in execution phase Responsible for local purchases not being manage at Cat Man level including scouting, tendering, contracting and Supplier Relationship Mgmt Responsible for Material TCO and budgeting Manage Supplier Relationship Management of Local suppliers (performance including KPI on level of service, risk monitoring) Vendor homologation, master data management in ERP for all the categories at country level Boost efficiency projects Manage execution of Innovation Other key competencies for success Strong negotiation skills Transformational approach Analytical skills – fact based Leadership Ownership Proactivity Flexibility What can you expect from us? Ideal educational background, experence and languages University degree or engineering diploma Experience.
5 years’ experience in a similar position within a Direct Materials Procurement function.
Used to operate in International markets and Multinational Companies (imports management) Fluency in English and French SAP knowledge desirable Valuable knowledge in packaging What do we expect from you?
