His main purpose will be to handle the different renewable projects assigned to him (wind, PV and/or battery storage) and make sure they are delivered in time, within the budget and fulfilling all company HSE and quality requirements.Hi will be reporting directly to the EPC Managing Director and his work will support the company on its growing strategy.Responsibilities Lead, manage and develop the construction of projects with the objective of zero accidents, on time with the quality required and on budget.Manage the different subcontractors, advisors and service providers involved on the project execution.Develop and implement standard processes, procedures and tools to control execution operations.Conduct periodic reviews of the execution process and procedures and implement necessary changes to propose service improvements and promote best practices.Advise and support operational areas on enforcement practices, standards and policies.Support key contract negotiations and ensure their progress.Produce regular performance reports and provide comprehensive management information and in-depth analysis when requested.Ensure professional presentation to internal and external clients, based on technical knowledge of Renewable Power Capital's products and services.Support the company on other deals we might be looking to close on a due diligence and preacquisition phase.Location & commitmentsPermFull-timeMadrid officeOccasional travel to the London office and monthly visit to the sites.Candidate requirementsDegree or equivalent experience in a technical disciplineKnowledge of Negotiation, Legal Contracts, EPC contracting process (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) and Project Management and Execution.Ideally demonstrates renewable energy construction project management experience.Ability to develop a detailed programme of works (PoW) to track progress.Needs to have experience of liaising with contractors and supporting the procurement team in managing RFQs, particularly in the technical aspect and contract negotiations.Ability to review Risk assessments and project detail design and ensure full Health & Safety & Environmental compliance.Needs to have experience of liaising with the engineering department during the preliminary design phase to identify technical solutions and optimisation.Ideally has site manager experience.Demonstrates the ability to review and prepare monthly and weekly reports.Needs to have strong communication skills, self-motivated with demonstrated problem-solving capability.Needs to be a self-starter with excellent presentation skills with constant attention to details and accuracy.Needs to be self-disciplined and result oriented as well as a hard worker.Demonstrates good English language skills.
