Introduction to Role.

This role leads and executes Competitive Intelligence activities, supporting multiple high-priority projects and brands across the R&D and commercial lifecycle.

In this role, you will establish strong working relationships across relevant TA groups, translate complex business problems into intelligence hypotheses, and design research and analytical plans.
You will conduct research, analyse data, and derive actionable insights that drive strategic decisions.
You will also be responsible for coordinating scientific conference intelligence in your areas of responsibility, mentoring junior members of the team, and managing specific elements of the CI budget.
Essential Skills/Experience.
- Science related degree - 5+ years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry - Prior, direct competitive intelligence experience covering both R&D and commercial aspects - Ability to synthesise and integrate multiple sources of information to provide concise insights and recommendations - Ability to deal with ambiguity and objectively challenge and influence senior stakeholders - Business acumen - Ability to build collaborative and constructive relationships across senior levels of the organisation - Strong verbal and written communication skills with confidence to present to senior level stakeholders - Previous exposure to senior level executives Desirable Skills/Experience.
- Deep expertise in relevant TA - Advanced degree holders who have a focus in decision analysis, statistics, business or medicine/science.
