CLOUD SECURITY ENGINEER (M/F/D)

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Cloud Security Engineer to join our Cloud Protection Cybersecurity team, specifically working with our central service based on Wiz, a leading Cloud-Native Application Protection Platform (CNAPP).
This role requires availability for on-call duty shifts and demands advanced expertise in at least one major cloud provider.
The ideal candidate must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and have a passion for delivering exceptional technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities.
• Provide second-level technical support for the cloud protection cybersecurity service, which includes troubleshooting and resolving customer issues related to the service • Availability for on-call duty during evenings, nights, and weekends.
• Design and implement security solutions to protect cloud-based applications and services.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD pipelines to automate security processes and enforce security policies.
• Work closely with customers and internal teams to ensure timely resolution of security-related issues.
• Contribute to cybersecurity initiatives within the organization to enhance overall cloud security posture.
Requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field • 2+ years of experience in cloud security engineering or related field • Commitment to fulfilling in on-call rotations for 24x7 support.
• In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Strong understanding of security frameworks, compliance standards, and best practices (e.
., NIST, ISO , CIS).
• Proficiency in scripting and automation (e.
., Python, PowerShell) to streamline security processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred.
• Experience with cloud security solutions, such as CNAPP, cloud security posture management, and cloud workload protection platforms.
• Familiarity with compliance standards such ISO • Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Security – Specialty, GCP Professional Cloud Security Engineer, or equivalent are a plus.
