CLOUD ARCHITECT

What you’ll do Solution Design & Architecture are responsible for the network Digital transformation of Vodafone networks where innovative digital planning, optimization, automation and tooling are delivered on GCP/AWS leveraging the Vodafone Data Ocean.
Solution Design & Architecture journey Starts from digital solution definition and design, passing through development and delivery up to network operation.
As a solution designer you will be designing Vodafone’s next generation network digital solutions in conjunction with teams across Vodafone.
This requires someone who will embed with the delivery squads but also engage with peers, products managers, Security and Privacy, to create a consistent design with common standards.
The Network Solution Designer will be responsible for architecture design deliverables of Network Digital Product solutions and makes sure the solutions are in-line with best practices of GCP/AWS and Vodafone architecture standards.

Design, prototype, and deliver end to end solutions on full-stack technologies (focus on Google Cloud – knowledge of AWS a bonus), leveraging rich native services offering.
Respond to business needs for cost-efficiency and agility Support.
Provide Expertise and Issue management in crises situations.
Partnership with tool suppliers (e.
.
GCP/AWS) to ensure best in class design of (cutting-edge) technologies implemented at large scale Provide sourcing recommendations for software components and system integration work.
Integrate architectural design following group architectural guidelines Produce proposals for new solutions, tools, strategies to address gaps or enhancements emerging in new markets gap analysis Document / keep up to date architecture evolution.
Who you are Degree or equivalent in a computer science or a scientific/technical discipline GCP/AWS Certified Architect (Professional Cloud Architect by example) TOGAF and/or Archimate2 certified GCP/AWS implementation of.
BigQuery/Redshift, PubSub/SQS, CloudSQL/RDS Experience of Data Movement technologies CDAP, Informatica, Talend, Nifi, Kafka.
Extended knowledge of the most relevant components and vendors in the following technology areas.
BI, GCP/AWS, Kubernetes, Istio Experience of engineering ETL Pipelines and would be a bonus.
