Cloud and Identity Security Internship About the Internship Allianz is offering an exciting 6-month internship opportunity for motivated individuals eager to gain hands-on experience in cloud and identity security.
As part of our dynamic team, you will support both our Cloud Security Experts and Identity Incident Responders, contributing to various security initiatives across AWS, Azure, and identity protection platforms.
This is an exceptional opportunity to explore the intersection of cloud and identity security, while developing skills in threat detection and response.
What you do • Assist in designing and implementing detection mechanisms and security controls within cloud environments (AWS, Azure).
• Support the team in automating security processes and enhancing security measures.
• Participate in the development and maintenance of security monitoring use cases based on IAM solutions.
• Collaborate with team members during critical security incidents, contributing to investigations and eradication efforts.
• Engage in threat hunting activities to identify potential vulnerabilities and recommend improvements.
• Work closely with stakeholders to align on security demands and present findings.
• Gain exposure to tools like Microsoft Active Directory, Azure Entra ID, and CrowdStrike Identity Protection.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of security processes based on lessons learned from incidents.
What you bring • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's/ Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of cloud technologies and security concepts.
• Interest in learning about AWS, Azure, and identity protection platforms.
• Strong motivation and eagerness to learn from experienced professionals.
• Good communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Analytical mindset with a keen interest in problem-solving and security challenges.
• Curiosity and autonomy in exploring new security trends and.
