We are looking for a Chief Steward to join the pre-opening team at SLS Barcelona.
Under the guidance of the Director of Food & Beverage, the Chief Steward will control the inventory of all equipment, china, cutlery, and glassware as well as managing the stewarding team in order to ensure a clean and safe working environment for the Restaurants and Kitchen team.

onitors the inflow of ordered materials and the maintenance of current materials.
onducts china, glass and silver inventories.
ontrols inventories of food, equipment, smallware, and liquor, and report shortages to designated personnel.
nspects supplies, equipment, and work areas in order to ensure efficient service and conformance to standards.
anages all equipment, china and glass.
nforces proper cleaning routines for equipment, floors, tools, etc.
nforces proper use and cleaning of all dish room machinery.
nsures all food holding and transport equipment is in working order.
nsures compliance with food handling and sanitation standards.
Qualifications What were looking for...
+ years of experience as Chief Steward in a high volume hotel / restaurant.
