More about the role   We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Business Intelligence and Pricing Data Analyst with advanced expertise in SQL, Power BI, and Snowflake to join the Global Commercial Excellence Team in Madrid with Signify.
As a Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in transforming data into actionable insights, helping our business make data-driven decisions.
You will be responsible for extracting, analyzing, and visualizing data to support various business functions, with a strong focus on utilizing SQL, Power BI, and Snowflake to deliver impactful reports and dashboards.
Pricing will be a key focus area.
Key Responsibilities.
Data Extraction & Analysis.
Use SQL to query, manipulate, and transform data from Snowflake and other data sources (databases, data warehouses, and APIs).
Work with Snowflake to perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) tasks.
Ensure optimal performance for queries and dashboards within the Snowflake data warehouse environment.
Perform data cleansing, validation, and aggregation to ensure data quality and integrity.
Conduct advanced data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support business objectives.
Power BI Reporting & Visualization.
Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI.
Utilize advanced Power BI features such as DAX, Power Query, and custom visualizations to create insightful reports.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and develop custom dashboards tailored to business needs.
Technical Skills.
Advanced proficiency in SQL, with hands-on experience in writing complex queries, joins, subqueries, and data manipulation.
Advanced skills in Power BI, including report creation, data modeling, DAX, Power Query, and custom visualizations.
Strong experience working with Snowflake, including database design, data extraction, transformation, and querying.
Strong understanding of relational databases, data warehousing concepts, and cloud-based data platforms.
Soft Skills.
Strong communication skills with the ability to present data findings to non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in data analysis, SQL, Power BI, and Snowflake.
Problem-solving attitude and ability to think critically and provide insight and guidance on best practices for commercial (sales and marketing) processes.
Coaching and developing analytics capabilities in the Commercial Excellence team.

Education.
Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems preferred.
Experience.
2+ years of professional experience as a Data Analyst or similar role, with a focus on SQL, Power BI, and Snowflake.
Minimum 1 year experience in Pricing analytics with practical evidence.
Proven track record of building and maintaining advanced Power BI dashboards and reports.
Experience with large datasets and data integration from multiple sources.
Familiarity with Snowflake's architecture and best practices for optimizing performance and scalability.
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and present it in a clear and meaningful way.
