With a rapidly expanding presence in Spain and key international markets such as the USA, UK, France, Italy, Germany and Poland, we are seeking a highly motivated Head of Biomethane project to create a new business line in ABEI ENERGY supporting on a multidisciplinary team already formed with experience in solar and wind technologies.📍Location: Madrid, Spain💼About the Role:As a Head of Biomethane you will mainly be for managing a team for the development of a broad portfolio of projects in different countries, analyzing the different markets, assessing the different opportunities and their associated risks to ensure the development of the best Biogas projects in economic, administrative, technical terms... To do this, we will have a multidisciplinary team with extensive experience in solar and wind energy.📝Responsibilities:Identify and Evaluate Opportunities: Proactively search and evaluate potential biogas project opportunities both within Spain and internationally, leveraging a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive development strategies.Project Reporting: Regularly report on the progress and status of projects across various countries to the board of directors, providing detailed updates and strategic insights.Optimal Waste Sourcing: Assist in the identification, evaluation, and selection of optimal waste sources for biomethane projects, ensuring suitability and sustainability of resources.Waste Management Oversight: Oversee waste management processes across a diverse portfolio of projects, ensuring efficient and environmentally responsible operations.Contract Negotiation and Management: Support the negotiation and finalization of waste supply contracts, ensuring favorable terms and compliance with both regulatory and company standards.🔑Requirements:Graduate in Engineering (Chemical, Energy, Industrial) or a related field.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).5+ years of experience on the operation and waste management of a biogas/biomass plant.Having successfully developed a biogas plant.Knowledge of Google Earth, QGIS, or similar tools is a plus.English B2 or higher.Team player with problem-solving abilities, strong interpersonal skills, and effective communication.Availability for occasional travelling international.🏅Benefits:Full-time permanent contract.Competitive salary commensurate with experience.Career progression opportunities.Language classes and training programs.At ABEI ENERGY, we foster a culture of innovation and sustainability.
