DESCRIPTION Bellboy – Valet in SiR Hotels is the first contact with our guests.
It includes.
carrying guests’ luggage, accompany the guest to the room, and cleaning building areas, including entrances.
To be successful in this role, you should be able to manage various tasks on a daily basis to ensure great customer service and that our operations run smoothly.
Keep in mind that this position requires working in shifts on bank holidays, weekends, evenings, or nights.
Ultimately, you’ll ensure our building is safe, clean and inviting.
MAIN RESPONSABILITIES Carry and label guests’ luggage with tags Sweep and mop floors and vacuum carpets Ensure building entrance is free of clutter at all times Direct guests to the reception area or the appropriate office/room Run errands for guests and employees Park guests' cars.
Fix minor technical issues, like arrange cushion at the swimming pool.
Report damages, call technicians and monitor repairs Comply with health and safety regulations Follow evacuation rules in case of emergencies REQUIREMENTS Previous work experience as a door attendant, janitor or custodian.
Have a car license, permit B.
Knowledge and communication in English is highly valued.
Knowledge and communication in other languages is valuable.
Good physical condition, stamina and strength (for example, lifting heavy equipment and luggage) Strong verbal communication skills to interact with housekeeping staff, technicians and customers.
Availability to work flexible shifts and schedules (e.
.
weekends and evenings) Vocational or secondary training diploma is a plus.
