Job Description.
Details of the role and how it fits into the team Join our International Trade Operations team in Madrid in the Bank Guarantee world.
Operations is dedicated to supporting our business in their goal to build long-term, sustainable relationships with the Bank’s key institutional clients, while delivering strong returns to stakeholders.
The team is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of Domestic and International Bank Guarantee Team is focused on ensuring that procedures are properly executed to reduce processing risk and identifying potential areas for process improvements, all within a tightly controlled environment in adherence with global regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities Handle day-to-day processing of Bank Guarantees, to meet customer service level agreements and review outstanding transactions.
Identify and mitigate risks in the manual procedures and ensure compliance with internal policies and audit and regulatory requirements.
Actively supports transformation and/or optimization initiatives to improve the efficiency/effectiveness of the process.
Responsible for responding to ad-hoc issues or internal client queries on a timely basis, ensuring all communications have been responded accurate.
Produce and Manage MIS, EOD, and control reports for processes.
Skills Degree in Economics or similar and strong background and work experience in Operations Excellent communication skills both verbal and written in Spanish and English.
Excellent skills in MS-Office (specially Excel).
Risk Awareness and experience in identifying, measuring, and tracking risks.
Experience in knowledge of Bank Guarantees would be suitable.
