BACKEND SOFTWARE ENGINEER-DATA INTEGRATION

We are looking for a  Backend Software Engineer specialized in Data Integration  to strengthen our team.
You will be responsible for integrating preparing and processing data from multiple sources.
Your role will include the development of connectors APIs and queue management for high-volume data processing.
QAD Process Intelligence is a division of the QAD Group specializing in Process Mining and Agentic AI.
This position is part of a strategic initiative to transform data analysis and artificial intelligence for the benefit of our clients.
The role is a fully remote from Spain.
What you will do.
Develop robust and optimized APIs in Python Ensure real-time data ingestion and queue management (RabbitMQ Kafka or similar) Manage large-scale SQL databases Optimize integration processes for maximum performance Contribute to the architecture of cloud-based solutions (AWS Kubernetes) Design develop and maintain Airflow DAGs to orchestrate data workflows Qualifications.
Required Skills Strong proficiency in Python and integration frameworks Solid knowledge of SQL databases Proven experience with queue management and real-time ingestion Demonstrated expertise in backend API development Good understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS Kubernetes) Experience designing and maintaining data orchestration workflows using Airflow Preferred Qualifications Experience with distributed systems Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools Profile Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in data integration or a similar role Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong problem-solving and optimization skills Proficient knowledge of English language is a must Additional Information.
