Role Overview.
We are seeking an AWS Solution architect with a strong developer mindset to design, implement, and optimize cloud-based solutions on the AWS platform.
In this role, you will leverage AWS's suite of services to build scalable, secure, and efficient systems, with a focus on automation, continuous integration, and deployment.
The ideal candidate combines AWS expertise with programming skills and enjoys working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Responsibilities.
Architecture & Design.
Design and implement cloud-based solutions on AWS that meet business requirements, emphasizing scalability, high availability, and security.
Development & Scripting.
Write high-quality, reusable code for automation, infrastructure management, and custom application development in languages like Python, JavaScript, or Java.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
Use tools such as AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, and the AWS CDK to define, deploy, and manage infrastructure as code.
CI/CD Implementation.
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions, enabling fast and reliable deployment of applications.
Monitoring & Optimization.
Set up monitoring and alerting for AWS resources using CloudWatch, Prometheus, or other monitoring tools.
Optimize performance, costs, and security.
Security Best Practices.
Implement AWS best practices for security and compliance, such as IAM role configuration, network security, and data encryption.
Qualifications.
AWS Certification.
Possess relevant AWS certifications (e.
., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Developer).
Programming Skills.
Proficient in at least one programming language, with a strong preference for Python, Java, or JavaScript.
Hands-on Experience with AWS Services.
Deep experience with core AWS services like EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, API Gateway, and VPC networking.
IaC and Automation.
Demonstrated experience with IaC (Terraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation) and automation in the AWS environment.
Developer Mindset.
Passion for writing clean, efficient code and an eagerness to implement best practices in software development.
