Application Support Engineer

Responsibilities

- Troubleshoot technical issues by identifying root causes and implementing solutions
- Use application monitoring tools to assess and maintain system performance
- Apply SQL for database querying and management
- Utilize ticketing systems to manage and prioritize support requests
- Deliver technical support to end-users and other stakeholders
- Participate actively in Agile teams, contributing to sprint planning and iterative workflows
- Leverage the ITIL framework to optimize support processes
- Enforce internal security standards and frameworks to ensure compliance and data protection

Requirements

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 1-3 years of experience in application support or a related IT role, showcasing technical problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with application support processes and best practices for effective issue resolution
- Strong analytical abilities for diagnosing and fixing technical issues
- Exceptional communication skills that clarify technical concepts for non-technical users
- Proven customer service expertise to ensure a high-quality support experience
- Flexibility to adapt in fast-paced environments and handle shifting priorities
