Support the Global Customs team to ensure an effective and controlled customs operation which supports the business goals while providing guidance on customs related requirements.
Key Responsibilities.
Support Global and Regional Customs initiatives and operational projects, as defined by Manager Global Customs.
Support ongoing development of Customs processes, procedures, and analytics that will contribute to the ongoing customs operations and ensure legal requirements with Customs authorities are met.
Deliver essential business analytics, executive summaries, and agreed action plans related to Global Customs initiatives for management, as required.
Support customs import, export and duty optimization analysis and reporting within Global and Market customs teams and brokers i.
., periodic reporting, KPI tracking, compliance reporting dashboards, etc.
Support ad hoc projects.

Proficient use of Microsoft office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Access) essential.
Demonstrated business reasoning, analytical and critical thinking.
Good planning and organizational skills, and ability to work and deliver in dynamic environments while adhering to specified deadlines.
Capability to work independently to solve problems and propose solutions.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Enthusiastic and reliable, positive, self-motivated.
Practical knowledge of customs clearance operations and customs regulations desirable.
Familiarity with project management and supply chain operations desirable.
Knowledge of data analytics is an advantage.
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications.
A degree (or equivalent experience) from an accredited college or university with emphasis on the areas of business, economics, logistics, supply chain, information system or operations +2 years’ experience in a customs/logistics department in an international company would be desirable.
Fluency in English, Written and Spoken
