Mission of the position To carry out the tasks and functions established by the Laboratory Manager in reference to the research and development of our products, our techniques and THOR projects, following the quality, environmental, occupational risk prevention and occupational accident regulations.
Requirements -Degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy or Biochemistry.
-Master/PhD in Organic chemistry or demonstrable experience.
-English level C1.
-Working experience in R&D cosmetic industry (laboratory, research and synthesis design) -Knowledge of chemical structures and functionality of preservatives and/or multifunctional ingredients in cosmetics.
-Knowledge in green/natural chemistry appreciated.

Key responsibilities -Project manager for new R&D developments.
-Planning, monitoring and partly implementation of project related labwork.
-Bibliographic research of articles, journals, patents and other sources of interest.
-Development and optimization of synthesis routes and product formulations.
-Supporting new products/synthesis during scale up phase to production..
-Development of analytical methods related to new projects.
-Preparation of laboratory reports and presentations.
