In this role, you will lead a team of 5 remote service support engineers, ensuring exceptional technical support and service delivery to customers. Reporting to the European Aftersales Director, you will play a key role in optimizing operational efficiency, fostering team collaboration, and maintaining high customer satisfaction levels.Responsibilities:• Team Leadership: Lead, coach, and mentor a team of 5 remote Aftersales Engineers to deliver superior technical support services• Technical Expertise: Provide technical guidance and support to team members, assisting in the resolution of complex technical issues, make sure team is kept abreast of updates or issues • Customer Service: Ensure prompt and effective resolution of customer inquiries and technical issues, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction• Process Improvement: Continuously assess and optimize support processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness, driving operational excellence• Performance Management: Set clear performance objectives and KPIs for the team, monitoring performance and providing regular feedback and performance evaluations• Training and Development: Identify training needs and opportunities for skills development within the team, organizing training sessions and knowledge sharing initiatives• Escalation Management: Act as a point of escalation for unresolved technical issues, liaising with internal teams and stakeholders to facilitate timely resolution• Documentation and Reporting: Ensure accurate documentation of technical issues, solutions, and customer interactions, generating regular reports for management review• Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Sales, Product Management, and Engineering to drive product improvement initiatives and enhance customer experience• Adherence to Policies and Procedures: Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and quality standards, promoting a culture of accountability and professionalism within the team.Qualifications:• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field preferred• Technical knowledge of solar inverters, PV systems, and related components• Knowledge of electrical systems, troubleshooting techniques, and relevant industry standards • Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role in service and aftersales, with a strong track record of team management and development• Experience working in a call contact centre, aftersales service, technical support, or customercare unit highly preferable• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders at all seniority levels• Ability to inspire, motivate, and lead service technicians: good at delegation, conflict resolution, and decision-making to team to achieve objectives• A customer-centric approach, ensuring that customer inquiries and issues are addressed promptly and effectively• Critical and analytical skills• Organisational skills: capable of prioritizing tasks, allocating resources effectively, and optimizing workflow to meet service delivery targets and customer expectations.• Fluent in Spanish and English, both written and verbal is a must• Passionate about continuous learning • Places importance on Team Collaboration and positive work culture• Proficiency in remote collaboration tools and CRM systems
