ADP Data Engineer About the Job As an ADP Data Engineer at Allianz Technology SE, München, Zweigniederlassung Wallisellen, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining the Allianz Data Platform Technical Services (ADPTS) on Microsoft Azure.
Your role will involve leveraging Azure Synapse Analytics and other Azure services to support enterprise data warehousing, data calculation, transformation, and integration processes.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of data solutions.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field, along with substantial experience in data engineering and cloud platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in an agile environment are essential for success in this role.

You will • Design and implement data solutions using Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL, and Spark technologies.
• Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines for data integration and transformation.
• Ensure deep integration with other Azure and Microsoft SaaS services such as Power BI.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement best practices for data architecture and engineering.
• Optimize performance and scalability of data solutions within the Allianz Azure group tenant.
• Continuously explore and implement new technologies and methodologies to improve data processing and analytics.
Your skills • Proven experience in data engineering, particularly with Microsoft Azure and Azure Synapse Analytics.
• Strong understanding of enterprise data warehousing, ETL/ELT processes, and data transformation.
• Experience with Spark technologies and data integration pipelines.
• Proficiency in SQL and other relevant programming languages.
• Familiarity with Azure services and Microsoft SaaS solutions such as Power BI.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in an agile environment.
