The Accounting Assistant will report directly into the Head of Finance at Fede. The position is open for a duration of six months, with potential for continuation due to the team's expansion.Responsibilities:Provide accounting support to the Head of finance and the administration departmentManage General Ledger accountsTrust account statement reconciliationsManage the fixed asset activityKeep track of the debt activityTrack expenses and evaluate budgetsCoordinate the monthly and yearly processes and prepare the monthly/quarterly financial statementsParticipate in monthly, quarterly, and annual auditsManage treasury and budgetingManage tax liabilityRequirements:Associate or bachelor’s degree preferredPrevious accounting experienceFluent in Spanish and ability to communicate in EnglishKnowledge of spreadsheets and bookkeeping as well as principles practices, standards, laws and regulationsExcel skills to handle financial dataIntegrity and confidentialityAccuracy and attention to detailWhat we offer:Free Friday afternoonsReduced schedule during the summer4 weeks of holidays ( 3 weeks in August and 1 in Christmas)Possibility to join health insurance
