• Preparation of the documentation to present to investors and accelerators, including business plan and investors’ deck. Barspace raised debt finance from the Virgin Startup programme, was selected among the finalists of the Just Eat Ventures programme and completed The Accelerator Academy programme.
• Preparation of the financial projections of the startup with different scenario analysis.
• Business development and sales of the product to bars and pubs as well as pub and beverage companies.
• Responsible for the financial accounts, presentation of quarterly VAT filings and the presentation of the corporation tax.
• Managed the development of the Barspace app and website together with the Co-Founder. I coordinated the progress of the development between the app developer, the backend developer, the website developers and the designer.
• Carried out extensive market research via interviews to pub managers and students and, putting it together with secondary research from reports of Euromonitor and Mintel, wrote the business plan of Barspace which included its financial model.

• Developed the Asset Management process in collaboration with the CEO and the CFO, based on the revision of covenants, to take control of the investments and negotiate restructures and prepayments of the non performing investments obtaining realized IRRs of about 20% (10 out of 20 investments were realized).
• Active participant in Asset Management Group. The group monitored and managed all loans under management. Monitored loan covenant compliance; perform independent valuation assessments in accordance with ASC 820 of various financial instruments.
• Built the financial models of both funds, including cash flow projections and waterfall distributions.
• Responsible for monthly, quarterly and yearly financial close of two Master Funds and three Feeder Funds under company management in accordance with GAAP.
• Responsible for maintaining the funds overall currency hedge calculations on a daily basis and report necessary hedge adjustment to the Portfolio Manager
• Managed the relationship with the financial auditors for 2010, 2011, and 2012 audits which were successfully completed, before the deadline and without exceptions.
• Preparation of materials for due diligence by new potential Investors (LPs).

• Managed a team of 2 people and worked alongside to coordinate the audit of one of the largest construction companies in Spain (income over 1,500 million euros). Prepared and presented to the Manager the report based on the audit inconsistencies.
• Audited an electronics multinational company regulated by the SEC and its Spanish affiliates in US GAAP. Replacing, with an assistant, a team formed by a Senior III and two assistants, completing the audit before the deadline, reducing significantly the cost of the audit for the client and increasing its satisfaction with the firm.
• Audited the 2008 financial statements of a pharmaceutical company with the Assistant II category but working as a Senior. Reporting directly to the manager assisted by a first year assistant, reducing the costs of the audit for the client and increasing its satisfaction.
• Assisted with the audits of 2007 and 2008 of one of the largest construction companies in Spain (same as mentioned above) maintaining and building relationship over a period of 3 years.
