- As a Logistics officer I plan, coordinate, execute and/or supervise the execution of all logistics functions and the six functional areas of combat service support (CSS): supply, maintenance, transportation, deliberate engineering, health services, and services. 
- I have served as a platoon commander and company commander in a Combat Service Support Unit. 
- I understand automated deployment, maintenance, and supply systems as well as operational concepts and procedures of all elements of the Marine Air Ground Task Force (MAGTF) (ground, aviation, CSS, and headquarters elements). 
- I have been responsible for nontactical unit movement of personnel, supplies, and equipment
by all modes of transportation.

Logistics Officer: These officers are critical thinkers and planners.
