Leading the department of environmental and social analysis of indirect risk in Galicia Bank, including the development of a Strategic Plan to position the company in the market of green loans and investments.
• Manage the relationship with shareholders, lenders and customers in relation to ESG matters,
• Collaborate with financial departments in identifying opportunities to develop green businesses and lead funds accreditation and implementation.
• Overview and evaluation of transactions to identify and manage potential environmental and social impacts in accordance with Ecuador Principles and IFC Performance Standards.
• Develop and lead ESG's Marketing and Communication Strategy in accordance with business model Galicia Bank.
• Cooperate in implementing the Corporate Social and Environmental Responsibility Plan.

The actual challenge is including the climite change managment in our environmental analysis. Its important to identify the transition and fisical impacts that climate risk could represent in projects that are financed. For this reason, we make an special focus in sustainable investment and products, leading Green Bond fund: water and energy eficiency, renewable energy, sustainable construction and GHG reduction projects to determine their eligibility and compliance with environmental policy in Galicia Bank loans applying the requirements of international organizations.

The framework is based on indirect environmental and social risk analysis in investment projects arising in the corporate business, or in small and mediumsized enterprises. This work, as I said, is analyzed under international Performance Standards. Operations are classied in risk levels, A, B or C, with the participation of external consultants - if is requeried - to implement an Environmental and Social Due Diligence. An Action Plan is done followed by monitoring during all funding. My task is being part of all this process.
