This is your opportunity!We are looking for a Program Lifecycle Specialist to join our team!Within the New IT HUB Sales - Retail of the Future supporting the strategic Mercedes Benz Program we need a Program Lifecycle Specialist.Program Lifecycle Specialist within Mercedes-Benz is responsible for managing the entire program lifecycle, with a focus on post-go-live market management, demand qualification, and coordination within the program environment. This role also emphasizes aligning with demand & portfolio management, release management, and continuous improvement.Description of role and responsibilities:Manage the entire program lifecycle, ensuring alignment with program goals from project initiation to post-go-live and hypercare phases.Take over market management responsibilities after the hypercare phase in live markets, facilitating a smooth transition and ongoing support.Ensure the qualification of post-go-live demands and align with demand & portfolio management as well as release management to meet market requirements.Act as a liaison between products, the program, and markets for non-support topics, coordinating to meet specific market needs.Facilitate the exchange of frequently demanded requirements as part of continuous improvement, aligning program processes with market demands.Coordinate with support teams to identify relevant improvements for reducing ticket volumes in close alignment with process owners and product teams.Evaluate change requests against blueprint processes to ensure alignment with program standards and best practices.Education degree & technical experienceBachelor's or Master's degree in IT Management, Business Information Systems, Program Management, or a STEM related field.Relevant certifications, such as Project Management Professional (PMP), or Projects IN Controlled Environments (PRINCE2) are advantageous.A minimum of 3 years of experience in program lifecycle management, with a focus on post-go-live market management, demand qualification, and coordination within the program environment.Technical knowledge/AccountabilitiesDefining, developing, and managing products and solutions throughout their lifecycle; identifying market opportunities, understanding customer needs, defining product/solution requirements, and working closely with engineering and design teams to create products/solutions that exceed customer needs Proficiency in program lifecycle management processes, from project initiation to post-go-live and hypercare phases.Strong understanding of post-go-live market management, demand qualification, and alignment with demand & portfolio management and release management.Familiarity with program-level coordination, including liaising between products, program, and markets. Knowledge of industry-standard tools for program lifecycle management and post-go-live support.Experience (skills and years)3+ years of proven experience in program lifecycle management including DevOps knowledge.Successful collaboration with cross-functional teams, program managers, product owners, and market managers to ensure alignment and demand qualification.Demonstrated ability to coordinate and facilitate exchanges on frequently demanded requirements as part of continuous improvement.Expertise in evaluating change requests against blueprint processes and coordinating with support teams for ticket volume reduction.Knowledge of Agile program management practices to align post-go-live activities with program objectives.English Proficient in English, both written and spoken.Knowledge of the German language is a plus.Other PreferencesIn addition to technical expertise, the ideal candidate should possess a set of vital soft skills for the role, including agility to swiftly adapt to evolving situations, a strong sense of empowerment, fostering trust and inspiration, a co-creative mindset that thrives on collaborative innovation, a relentless drive to excel and achieve success, unwavering customer orientation aimed at continually delighting our clients, a deep-rooted sense of purpose, a pioneering spirit that embraces innovation, and a commitment to continuous learning to stay at the forefront of industry advancements.
