The successful candidate will work within our Dublin based European payroll team, where hard work, initiative and enthusiasm are part of the daily routine.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and ambitious candidate to work within a highly experienced payroll team assisting in the preparation and delivery of in-house and outsourced payrolls.
This is a busy and complex monthly payroll for employees and crew requiring a high level of attention to detail.
The successful candidate will have strong time management skills, attention to detail and an ability to work calmly under pressure.
They must be able to work from their own initiative while being an integral part of our team.
This position provides an excellent opportunity to work with an experienced team gaining payroll experience within the Aviation Industry.
This location can be in Dublin or Spain The successful candidate will initially be responsible for payroll tax calculation/ social insurance compliance for our Spanish payroll and other associated group finance functions.
As the role is within a European Shared Service Centre there will be opportunities for career development through providing support for other jurisdictions.
Responsibilities.
Managing payroll and social insurance compliance initially for Spain, expanding to other jurisdictions.
Ensure accurate and timely delivery of all payroll / social insurance compliance obligations.
Co-ordinate the preparation of payroll data and monthly/annual reporting.
Providing advice to employees on payroll related issues.
Dealing with queries from Spanish authorities.
Liaise with Group Finance on payroll and other issues.
Ad-hoc duties Here's what we are looking for.
Previous experience managing Spanish / multi jurisdiction payroll and social insurance compliance function.
A detailed knowledge of Spanish payroll and social insurance including dealing with non-residents.
Knowledge of payroll / social insurance compliance system in another jurisdiction is an advantage.
Language(s) – Spanish, proficient level of English is essential and another European language would be an advantage.
Computer literate (Payroll Software, MS Office, SAGE).
Professional qualification is an advantage.
