Description.
Position Overview.
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Junior Quality Technician to join our team.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our IoT devices.
A key responsibility will be to manage and maintain the Full Material Disclosure (FMD) of our product portfolio, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Responsibilities.
Manage and maintain the Full Material Disclosure (FMD) of our active product portfolio, including collecting and documenting information on materials used in manufacturing.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards, such as RoHS, REACH, and other environmental directives.
Assist in the development and implementation of quality control processes for IoT device manufacturing.
Conduct inspections and quality audits throughout the production process to identify and address any deviations from quality standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering and manufacturing, to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
Support the development and maintenance of quality documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
Assist in conducting root cause analysis and implementing preventive measures to improve product quality and reliability.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing processes and product quality.
Provide training and guidance to production staff on quality control procedures and best practices.
Contribute to the development of new products by providing input on quality requirements and specifications.
Requirements.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or related field preferred.
Previous experience in a quality control or assurance role, preferably in the electronics or manufacturing industry.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards related to IoT devices, including RoHS, REACH, and WEEE.
Familiarity with quality management systems and tools, such as ISO and statistical process control (SPC).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across different departments.
Detail-oriented and highly organized, with a commitment to ensuring product quality and reliability.
