Responsibility includes attending regular university meetings and assemblies to represent students' perspective and voting as well as representing UPC in European networks and universities. 

Pre-Doctoral Training at the Department de Teoria i Història de l’Arquitectura i Tècniques de Comunicació (THATC) conducting research with a focus on user experience, perception and human-centred design with the objective of linking between architecture as spatial practice, design intent and process, as well as user experience and perception with a multi-disciplinary and human-centred approach.

Senior Stylist for retail department store Creative Egypt (Address: Omar Effendi Building, Ahmed Orabi Street) 
Project designed by Rhimal Designs (Pr. Amr Abdel Kawi), client: Industry Modernization Centre (IMC). Responsibilities included design and managing stylist team for products display and window-shop design display.

Free-lance architect, interior designer and artist – Mia Atelier 
Scope of work: work includes working on architectural projects from concept generation (architectural and interior design), fit-out projects, brand and corporate identity, design schematic phase, working drawings, construction supervision site visits, and project management.
Type of projects: private residential houses (architecture and interior), retail (shops, restaurants and cafes), corporate (office buildings and interiors), clinics, interior brand identity, and furniture design.

External Consultant (project-based) to Nielson Marketing Research Agency for LaFarge market research in Cairo, Egypt consulting on market trends and usage of concrete in different types of projects: low-end, high-end customers, commercial and gated communities as well as recommendations for the marketing and business plan. 

Senior Stylist for Furniture Expo Furnex 2015 
A joint project between Rhimal Designs (Pr. Amr Abdel Kawi) and Industry Modernization Centre (IMC) to help styling the booths of small and medium sized Egyptian furniture manufacturers for the exposition in line with international trends to promote them for exports.
Scope of work: included research on international exhibition trends and display designs, research on the specific furniture companies in terms of design and manufacturing process, working on the brand identity to be translated into a booth design, booth design and overseeing the setting up, styling and furniture display.

Assistant Lecturer at the Department of Architecture, Faculty of Engineering, Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT). Instructor of elective course Creativity and Innovation (AR 226) including teaching, evaluation, curriculum design and implementation, as well as assisting Pr. Lobna Sherif in Design Studio VI (AR516), Design Studio III (AR313), Graduation Project (AR501). Responsibilities include one-to-one tutorials with students as well as students’ evaluation. 

External Jury Member for dissertation pre-final presentations of Masters of Architecture M.Arch students at Oxford Brookes University, Oxford, UK.

Teaching Assistant at the Department of Architecture, School of Sciences and Engineering, the American University in Cairo (AUC) for Design Studio IV (AENG 454) Pr. Amr Abdel-Kawi– structural and experiential solutions. Responsibilities included one-to-one tutorials with students as well as students’ evaluation.

Senior Architect in architectural consultancy firm Euro Egyptian Engineering (EEE)
Scope of work: included working on architectural project from concept generation (architectural and interior design), brand and corporate identity, design schematic phase, working drawings, construction supervision, site visits, value engineering, owner representative (including FIDIC contractual issues), project management, research, furniture design, evaluation of furniture design and manufacturing, material research, and material selection. 
Types of projects: offices, clinics, banks, retail, cafés, restaurants, residences, furniture design and evaluation. 

Student representative for the Masters of Architecture M.Arch program at Oxford Brookes University. Responsibilities included meeting regularly with a panel of staff to represent and relay student issues to the administration.

Tennis Coach at Stars Tennis Academy in Heliopolis for children from age 4-12 years old (red, orange and green groups). Responsibilities included planning training and exercises as well as teaching the sport.

Art Teacher at Mémé’s Atelier Art School for kids (age 4-12), Cairo, Egypt.

Tennis Coach at Heliopolis Sporting Club (HSC) for children from age 4-12 years old (Mini-Tennis: red, orange and green groups). Responsibilities included planning training and exercises as well as teaching the sport.

Course: Introduction to Human-Centred Design: introduction to human-centred research methods, concept generation, and rapid prototyping of a solution to a poverty-related design challenge.

Overall GPA 3.98/4.00 - Highest Honours (Summa Cum Laude) and graduated as top of my class. Dissertation Title: Architecture for the Unnoticed: Centre for Autistic Children and Adults.
