Are you looking for a challenging Product Owner role based in Barcelona?
We are looking for a Product Owner to help shape the future direction of our world-leading tour-management solution. Your mission is be the main interface between our development team and TourKnife’s clients.
So, what will you do in practice?
Take the lead on the TourKnife product roadmaps for our main product lines: TourKnife Group, TourKnife FIT, TourKnife CRM, and TourKnife Smarts. This includes evaluating, defining and prioritizing products, features, development tasks and release dates
- Lead requirements gathering with both new and existing clients to achieve the above, including preparing functional specifications for new products, features and integrations requested by clients
- Track and follow up on development tasks internally and ensure these meet deadlines
- Communicate with relevant teams and use project tracking tools to ensure development tasks are correctly defined, assigned and completed
- Lead TourKnife implementation at new client sites, including: data gathering and analysis, defining and implementing any integrations required, configuring TourKnife to client requirements, data import, testing, training and going live
- Interact with senior management and relevant teams: R&D, Support, Sales, Marketing, Operations.
We are looking for a seasoned software engineer with experience leading a software project. The ideal candidate will have several years’ experience working in the tourism sector, ideally as the technical lead in a tour operator.
Next to this, there are a few hard requirements:
Computer Engineering or equivalent.
Full professional fluency in English and Spanish, both written and verbal is a must..
