Align and manage product strategy with portfolio objectives. Responsible for vision and value realisation of products.Technical OutputsEfficiency, Standards, ProcessesAlignment with boards and standards across Derivco/Platform where applicable to productIdentifies and ensures that efficient processes and procedures are in place to meet objectives and that these are followed and regularly reviewed.StrategicCreate and Execute product, technical and operational strategy that aligns with portfolio and group taking into consideration Products, Markets, Customers and Services.Facilitates an understanding of competitor analysis and market research to identify areas of opportunity and riskAligns with other teams as required to achieve objectivesTeam ManagementManages direct and indirect reportsEnsures that the team is appropriately resourced and members are equipped with the requisite skill set required for both current and future projectsDeveloping a training and career development plan for each team memberCollaboratively works with team members to set performance goals and measuresFacilitates mentoring and coaching, as required.Manage relevant team budgets.Change ManagementFacilitates change management due to changing situational/organizational/market requirementsProduct ManagementResponsible for each phase of the product life cycle, end to end, from Inception, Growth, Maturity to Decline.
