A day in the life
You will be spending majority of your time working across strategic initiatives, collaboriting with the Product managers and business leaders to define and review the scope of upcoming features on the roadmap for the Amazon Business purchasing and delivery experience.
You will own the pulse of your organization through daily management activities tracking success and health of key deliverables as well as defining new mechanisms to optimize daily operation of the teams.
As a leader you will also own the hiring and development needs of your org in close collaboration with Amazon’s recruiting teams, planning headcount, mentoring/coaching and driving engagement initiatives focused on increasing employee satisfaction/retention.
About the team
You will be the leader of the team of 40+ engineers organized into 5 two-pizza teams.
Each 2 pizza team is staffed with 6-8 engineers and 1 manager, and contains a balanced mix of junior and senior engineers.
This team owns engineering solutions/softwares for the Amazon Business purchasing and delivery experience
