\n Job summary \n The Red Hat Sales team is looking for a Key Account Manager with knowledge of the financial services industry (FSI) to join us in Spain.
In this role, you will support worldwide revenue, profit, and customer satisfaction while focusing on one of our major global accounts in the financial services sector.
You'll manage and maintain account relationships, particularly with C-level contacts.
To be successful, you'll need to develop account strategies while communicating and understanding customer needs, industry trends, and critical success factors to guarantee significant, double-digit growth.
As a Key Account Manager - FSI, you will lead a team and coordinate sales specialists, presales work, and consulting services associates for these accounts on a global level.
\n Primary job responsibilities \n \n Manage a FSI global account customer relationships with customers that have their headquarters in Spain and those with significant and strategic importance for Red Hat \n Position Red Hat at all levels of an organization, including C-level executives, while maintaining and developing new relationships within the assigned account \n Set global account strategy and plan with clear objectives, actions, owners, and sales targets, keeping in mind quarterly targets and overall strategic development of the account \n Apply global team leadership to share best practices leading to success and provide leadership across the different countries and regions in which the account has presence \n Supervise and coordinate a team of salespeople, presales support, and consulting services associates to grow our entire portfolio of offerings for your account \n Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing across our entire portfolio of offerings with a focus on accurate forecasting and pipeline building \n Support the global cooperation of all teams and create a vision for the assigned account \n Introduce and promote new and innovative ways to work with teams to meet customer needs and sales objectives \n \n Required skills \n \n 10+ years of experience working in enterprise IT sales with a successful record of managing major enterprise accounts or global accounts \n Outstanding record of setting account strategies, delivering on committed forecasts, and overachieving sales targets \n Experience with the sole responsibility for a major account, including leading and coordinating a team of account managers in different countries, overlay sales, presales, and consulting services \n Proven ability to work seamlessly with global cross-functional teams to achieve success on behalf of customers \n Broad technical experience with the majority of our Red Hat's solutions \n Demonstrated market and competitive knowledge \n Solutions sales mentality in a company with multiple offerings and services \n Personal motivation to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment \n Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish \n Financial vertical knowledge \n Knowledge of and passion for Linux and open source technology is a plus \n \n Red Hat is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace and an affirmative action employer.
