From Luxe Talent, International Recruitment and Training Consultancy specialised in Fashion, Luxury, Retail and FMCG, we are looking for a BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER to open and manage the EUROPEAN PORTFOLIO for one of our clients, a new MARKET-PLACE based in AUSTRALIA.

In our recruitment and training consultancy we work with different firms in the Luxury, Premium and High Premium sectors around Europe and have offices in Barcelona, Madrid, Paris, Milan and Munich.

This position is responsible for driving and growing the business through leading the sales cycle and maintaining client relationships.
Through tracking new markets and identifying emerging trends, the Business Development Manager will recommend new products and services, develop new strategic partnerships and manage the process from initial sales meetings, qualification of the opportunity, bringing the solution together, through to signature.

? Provide the first point of contact for all sale enquiries and business development opportunities globally with a focus on enterprise relationships with brands and distributors within the luxury industry? Conduct research into new markets, client requirements and global trends? Develop sales related strategies and plans to grow the business? Identify and generate new business opportunities and explore viable income streams? Manage and retain relationships with existing clients and build database of new or potential clients? Reporting on successes and areas needing improvements? Arrange and attend meetings (including Virtual and Face-to-Face) with prospective and existing clients? Manage the sales-cycle from quotation to contract to implementation? Preparation of sales contracts ensuring all relevant laws and legislation are followed in the areas of operation? Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the Company products, supply chains and value proposition? Prepare proposals, presentations and reports for clients and the executive leadership team? Gather feedback and insight from clients and provide exceptional levels of after-sales support? Develop, implement and review operational policies and procedures as they relate to sales or business development? Responsible for providing updates to the executive leadership team regarding sales leads, including reporting on weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annually key indicators? Establish and maintain exceptional relationships with clients, internal department leaders and external vendors.? Represent the company at local, virtual or international events as requiredOther? Ensure all required actions and tasks are completed accurately and within given time frames as directed? Attend and participate in all relevant team and departmental meetings? Abide by all company procedures in respect to grooming, performance and conduct standards, workplace health and safety, emergency procedures and all other policies and procedures as required including employee handbooks and standard operating procedures.? Any other reasonable tasks requested by your manager.
