Battery Management Software Engineer(M/W/D)
Our Client are pioneers in their sector, building the first electric multirotor helicopter, improving urban mobility for the future. The fully electric vehicle will transform the concept of urban mobility. Not only does it relieve the strain of traffic on the roads, it also delivers people to their destination much faster - completely free of direct emissions and “on demand”.
Their state-of-the-art battery systems are key to making the aircraft extremely safe to fly. You are a software engineer experienced in the development of functionally safe systems. Within a multi-disciplinary team, you lead the development of embedded software for the Battery Management System with a focus on system safety and verify that the design implementation meets the required safety and reliability objectives.
Implementation of application-level safety critical software for Li-Ion Battery Management System based on high level functional descriptions / block diagrams / Matlab models
Requirements definition, selection and management of external suppliers and tools
Test and validation of newly developed or existing BMS software, test automation
Close cooperation with the hardware engineers
Assist in system reliability assessments, including failure modes and effects analysis (FMEA)
Requisitos del puesto
Degree (BSc, Msc) in Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar
Track record of successfully completed software projects
Professional experience in the development of functional safety software (IEC 61508, ISO 26262, DO-178, V model)
Strong analytical skills and structured approach
Experience in software testing and verification (white/black box testing, static/dynamic testing, unit/integration/system testing)
Excellent communication skills
Team player, confident in technical discussions, ability to organize and “get things done”
Structured way of working, high sense of responsibility, Hands-On attitude
Very good English language skills (written and spoken)
