rial">What we do:

  • Partner with the business to take business product, investment and operation decisions, taking into account the risks taken and optimizing the capital required. 
  •  Based on a good understanding of business and on a collaborative work with operational, prepare, anticipate, recommend and implement an overall risk management process, to manage underwriting or operational risk, market risk, regulatory reporting risks, digital / IT risk, solvency II ratio calculation 
  • support to CFO areas with specific inputs (e.
    .
    required capital)
  • Assess the risk, which involves analysing risks as well as identifying, describing and estimating the risks affecting the business, using actuarial technical skills and increasingly big data 
  • Evaluate the risk, which involves comparing estimated risks with criteria established by the organisation such as costs, legal requirements and environmental factors, and evaluating the organisation's previous handling of risks;
  • Report the risk in an appropriate way for different audiences ; make sure senior managers are aware of risks linked to their parts of the business and ensure individuals understand their accountability for individual risks;
  • Provide support, education and training to staff to build risk awareness within the organisation.

Under the General Secreatry, the Risk Team mission is to support AXA Group Operations mission and strategy through the promotion of a risk culture, to ensure risk is managed in key decisions, projects and operations with the full knowledge of the risk profile.
The main objectives for the CRO team are:
• To optimize our shareholder’s investments and resources in innovation
• To provide an independent and risk-based view of Group Operations Strategy
• To provide early risk assessments on new products launch, both internally and from a customer perspective
• To secure and to optimize the execution of Group Operations key projects, the delivery of products and services for the benefit of the entities
• To reduce our risk exposure and potential impacts through transfer, diversification, mitigation or avoidance
• To contribute as a key player to ensure compliance with regulations through Group Standards deployment
