General Job Description:
Under the general supervision of the Enrollment Director, we are looking for an administrative hire (temporary position) that will help administer the day-to-day operations of the office. This temp hire will be supporting in some administrative tasks of the admissions department. Some of the primary duties include:

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Advises and provides students with information about programs delivered on the Valencia campus including the admission process, eligibility requirements, tuition and/or other;
  • Explains school policies and enrollment process to applicants, students and their families;
  • Provides assistance to students in completing admission forms and answering questions related to the admissions and enrollment process (phone and email);
  • Processes and manages student data, maintains current database, along with other data maintenance administrative tasks;
  • Assists with the review and filing of supporting materials, including transcripts;
  • Schedules interviews with applicants;
  • Processes data maintenance projects as needed by Admissions;
  • Supports Admissions and other recruitment events;
  • Provides some visa support to applicants if needed;

Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE, SKILLS
We seek applicants who can demonstrate experience in heavy administrative roles, have an excellent level of English and a strong commitment to student service, the ability to work both independently and in a team environment, in a highly administrative environment, and the capacity to multitask. Applicants will also be in possession of the following:

This is a highly admin role and candidates will be considered if they can demonstrate experience in administrative roles.

  • English fluency (C1 minimum or native) and a strong level of Spanish required (B2)
  • A minimum of one year of professional experience in administrative roles;
  • Knowledge of and experience with computer systems, MS Office etc.
  • Experience in using Mac computers highly desirable;
  • Capacity to prioritize projects and remain calm during peak Admissions and enrollment periods;
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills essential;
  • Positive attitude and great team spirit;
  • Detail oriented;
  • Ability to meet a flexible work schedule, including some evenings and/or weekends;

This is a highly admin role and candidates will be considered if they can demonstrate experience in administrative roles.
