This individual will be part of the DePuy Synthes Supply Chain Product Management (SCPM) group, supporting the Digital and Power Tools platforms.
He/she will use knowledge of project management, enterprise-wide supply chains, and knowledge of manufacturing operations to function as an integral member of a development team committed to sustainable world-class manufacturing & supply chain operations supporting key strategic NPI projects.
Ensures continuity of supply by leading and participating in complex projects that require influencing and supporting cross-functional teams such as.
R&D, Quality Engineering, Marketing, Finance, Sourcing, Plan, Make, External Operations and Environmental/Safety that drives the development and implementation of Business Continuity Plans to mitigate against manufacturing and/or Supplier launch delays and long term product supply disruption risks.
Key Responsibilities.
Under general direction and in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations and Corporate Johnson & Johnson, procedures and guidelines, this position.
Serves as the supply chain lead on large global NPD programs Designs and establishes value chains for new products, ensuring alignment with key business functions and strategies Provides strong program management capabilities to drive end to end value, collaborating heavily with commercial, R&D, quality, and other supply chain partners Drives adherence to supply chain readiness process ensuring strong functional accountability Delivers project communications to leaders across multiple levels of the organization Builds strong cross-functional teams, providing feedback and mentoring team members Responsible for presenting business related issues or opportunities to next management level Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures Performs other duties assigned as needed Qualifications Qualifications Education.
Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent University degree required; focused degree specifically in Engineering, Physical Sciences, Business or related field, MBA or equivalent preferred.
Experience and Skills.
Required.
Minimum four (4) years of relevant professional work experience Experience working in cross-functional teams Strong communication, influencing and leadership skills.
Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization, project management and problem solving Strong communicator, influencer, self-motivated and team player Proven ability to successfully manage large projects Comfortable working in a matrix environment where priorities change rapidly and possess the ability adapt accordingly Detail oriented Preferred.
Experience with electronics/electromechanical/robotics supply chains Experience working in a regulated environment People management experience Familiarity with ISO and 21 CFR Six Sigma/Process Excellence and/or Project Management/PMP/FPX certification Other.
