Product manager animal health

Ferrer is an international, privately owned pharmaceutical company based in Barcelona with presence in more than 90 countries. It contributes to the improvement of people's health and quality of life through the pharmaceutical, healthcare, fine chemicals and food sectors. 

My tasks in the Marketing department are to support marketing strategies. I am working with product launches of a new brand in the dermocosmetic area and organising and supporting marketing plans with known brands in the OTC area at the Consumer Health section of Ferrer. 

My specific tasks at Ferrer are:
• Support to the MK plan, market research and other information research.
• Elaboration of the Business Case and the annual plan.
• Participate in formative meetings.
• Elaborate data marketing reports by management programs. 
• Collaborate in carrying out tasks related to the operational management of the Marketing Plan
• Contact with advertising agencies, sales team and medical department, working on the marketing strategies campaigns. 
• Participate in the design of promotional materials for the strategic product marketing plan
• Attend conferences and congresses to keep up-to-date with the therapy area, and support on the promotion of the brand 
• Attend and participate in product cycle meetings 

Bioibérica is a biotechnology company specializing in the identification and extraction of biomolecules of high biological and therapeutic value from tissues of animal origin. It is specialized in the production of biomolecules for the pharmaceutical, veterinary and agricultural industries.

My tasks are related with marketing of veterinary clinic products:

•	Provide scientific knowledge about veterinarian products. One of my tasks is to report medical knowledge about the products of the pharmaceutic company, doing information about the composition, the administration, the clinic format of the product and some other additional information required by the clients. 
•	Report advantages and novelties of the new products above other products on the market to keep key customers and to get new ones.  
•	Report new promotional campaigns and improve the old ones when it is necessary to reach the maximum of clients  
•	Design of marketing plans.  As contributor in the Marketing Department, one of my tasks are to improve the marketing plans of the new promotional campaigns to guaranty good sales of the products

VENERDES S.L is a Spanish industry based on the production of fresh meat, processed meat and precooked meals. The industry mainly export their products to other communities of Spain and France.

I began my experience at this business as practices assistant. Because of my achievements and effort I became the responsible of the Quality Department.

My task as food quality assurance manager in this industry is to manage quality and safety standards of food products and food manufacturing, according to current legislation. 

VENERDES S.L. is in process of implementing IFS (International Featured Standard) to establish a common Standard with a uniform evaluation system and ensure comparability and transparency throughout the entire supply chain. My main tasks in this process are based on manage resources and intervene in planning and production process to get this accredited certification. 
My specific tasks as quality manager in the company are:
•	Develop and provide training for food safety and quality requirements
•	Develop and maintain documentation such as HACCP’s, as well as maintenance of manuals, policies and procedures as relate to any food safety concerns
•	Conduct facility food safety audits
•	Monitor and verify activities to ensure that all products coming in and out of the facility meet food safety standards in addition to quality standards
•	Update existing food safety procedures and documentation to keep up with changing requirements
•	Assist buyers with training and educating potential suppliers to ensure compliance
•	Work closely with Operations Manager and/or General Manager on any food safety or quality assurance issues
•	Oversee proper maintenance and sanitation of all facility to comply with food safety requirements
•	Ensure that all company food safety and quality assurance procedures are followed and documented correctly at all times
•	Update of technical documents about food products
•	Manage incidences and establish corrective measures to avoid them in the future

IDIBAPS (Institute of Biomedical Research August Pi I Sunyer) based on Barcelona (Spain) is a center that organizes research in different thematic areas. It fosters translational research, innovation and technological progress in the field of biomedicine, through various programs revolve around high disease prevalence, morbidity and mortality. It is involved in big national and international projects, 
is involved in major national and international projects, in collaboration with other research centers like CIBERs or RETICs.
To help to improve human health, several experiments were carried out on swine and rodents. 

My tasks on this center was to assist on the research processes:
•	Provide biomedical knowledge to help with the research 
•	Provide anatomical knowledge of animals used in research 
•	Assist to surgical techniques of the research
•	Assist to test carried out during the research
•	Do laboratory techniques 

Manescalia Cal Ros S.L. is a business based in la Cerdanya (Spain). This center offers veterinary services to small and farm animals. It provides its services predominantly in the northeastern of Spain and Southeast of France

•	As a clinical veterinary centre that provides clinical services to small animals and horses, its main responsibilities are based in prevent and cure their diseases.
o	Diagnostic techniques: echocardiography, electrocardiography, radiography
o	Clinical analysis
o	Basic surgery
o	Intensive care unit
o	Other services such as nutritional counseling

•	As veterinary of farm animals (equines and cattle), veterinarian understands the set of biological knowledge, as well as techniques and production systems necessary to obtain good quality animal products, achieving them through appropriate management and ensuring the welfare of animals and environmental protection. The services are based in:
o	Analysis and implementation of animal production systems
o	Control of animals and all phenomena involved in animal production, such as pasture or animal reproduction

My tasks on this center was to assist on the veterinary tasks:
-	Provide knowledge to veterinary (anatomy, physiology, diagnostic techniques and production)
-	Assist to surgeries and do basic surgeries
-	Assist to diagnostic techniques and clinical analysis

As a part-time job, I have been working for 7 years as a public relations, hostess and a model in some cities at Spain (mainly on Barcelona) and in other countries. To work as a public relations, hostess and model has let me to develop skills in social communications and marketing. 
In my first job as a customer service in a store while I was combining the work with the studies, I got an autonomic sales award (Catalonia - Spain)
My main tasks in these jobs where:
•	Liaise between staff and customers to ensure great service
•	Manage and arrange event related work
•	To develop proper etiquette and customer service skills to the business and to come up with public relations strategies
•	Building relationships with the media
•	Overseeing content production  and social media strategies
•	Bringing in, new business opportunities
•	Managing client relationships
