00a0 u00a0 ABOUT THE JOB u00a0 As a System Engineer – Network, you will be part of a cross-functional team that enables networking engineering skills and capabilities across TUI.
Contribute to the delivery of technical solutions and will work within a Product Team to ensure the correct solution is engineered, addressing the technical needs and requirements of the business.
00a0 Achieve this by delivering changes across the IT stack in collaboration with Agile delivery teams, using technology and common automation, ensuring successful deliverables within agreed time and quality targets.
Diligently care about the quality of your work, including proper documentation and security aspects.
00a0 Within your team, you will design and implement secure, scalable, traditional & cloud-native solutions and be responsible for driving architecture, design, development, security and operations.
Take proactive corrective action and improve automation to enhance platform flexibility and general availability.
You can verbalise your thoughts and ideas and take the initiative to translate ideas into outcomes.

00a0u00a0 Provide management of incidents, requests and projects and ensure a timely and successful resolution of problems.
00a0 Monitor and maintain network connectivity.
00a0 Analyze and troubleshoot network performance issues.
00a0 Produce and maintain documentation related to all systems developed/deployed.
00a0 Manage day-to-day operational tasks to ensure the best service offering for our clients.
00a0 Work independently and proactively collaborating with the rest of IT teams and with the 3rd party service providers.
00a0 Undertake weekend work is a requirement for this position.
00a0 Willingness to be on call (24×7) and to travel.

00a0u00a0 Extensive hands-on experience with diversified network technologies like WAN, LAN, WLAN, X (Network Access Control), firewalling, load balancing, routing, switching and VPNs.
00a0 Experience with deployment, maintenance and administration of equipment from multiple vendors, such as Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet and HPE Arubau00a0 Knowledge of different protocols/services like DNS, DHCP, SSL, IPSec, etc.
00a0 Ability to work independently and be a self-starter, with a team-oriented approach.
00a0 Scripting / Automation experience u Python u Perl u Ansible.
00a0 Analytical and conceptual thinking mindset, as well as creative problem-solving skills.
00a0 Effective communication skills in English, verbal and written.
Spanish is a plus.
00a0 Any certification from Fortinet, Cisco, Palo Alto or AWS will be advantageous.
