SUSTAINABILITY REPRESENTATIVE

At Iberostar we are looking for a Sustainability Representative to join our Operations team based in Aruba, but before knowing more about the position, we think it's important that you learn a little about us.

maybe this is your place!:) Your main mission as a Sustainability Representative is to assist in managing and overseeing environmental and sustainability issues surrounding projects.
Assist in implementing sustainability strategies that relate to the environmental impacts.
Promotes sustainability efforts in all areas of the hotel.
As a Sustainability Representative, What will your day-to-day work be like?.
-Creates and implements company sustainable standards.
-Develop plans for reducing energy and water consumption, minimizing waste, and promoting eco-friendly practices and monitors, reviews, and enforce policies and procedures.
-Trains and motivates employees to ensure that sustainable standards are met.
-Achieves sustainable objectives by contributing to information analysis.
-Meets sustainable objectives by estimating requirements, preparing annual budgets, and scheduling expenditures.
-Validates sustainable processes by establishing product specifications and quality attributes.
-Prepares sustainable documentation and reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
-Perform inspections to ensure rooms are constantly meeting or exceeding brand standards.
-Help to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and environmental standards, recommending improvements where necessary.
-Evaluate changes to the guest's needs, the hotel's guest mix, and competitive trends to recommend appropriate products/services and operational changes to ensure guest and employee satisfaction.
-Maintain communication with the different departments of the hotel.
Requisitos Who is the ideal person for this position?.
Academic Qualification.
Bachelor's degree Experience 2 years of experience in a similar position Skills.
-Highly responsible & reliable -Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team -Ability to think quickly and find solutions to issues faced daily -To be able to remain focused and be detailed in product delivery -Ability to maintain the Standards of the company and Department -Excellent Command of the English and Spanish Language- Additional language is an asset Se ofrece Our proposal for you.
