SUPPLY CHAIN COORDINATOR

Por qué te necesitamos? What’s the Job? Hybrid (Remote + Office Plant) The Supply Chain Coordinator will facilitate planning and execution of replenishment orders for various raw materials to Architectural facilities, as well as finished goods stock transfer orders (STO’s) between facilities.
The incumbent leads tactical planning and analysis to ensure optimal logistical effectiveness, including minimizing freight costs and maintaining inventory levels within established parameters for warehouse capacities.
The Supply Chain Coordinator is responsible to cultivate a continuous improvement culture to evolve processes and drive higher efficiency.
As a member of the Supply Planning team – fully understands and utilizes systems and processes to effectively transfer materials.
Essential Duties Resource Planning.
Analyze demand and supply at manufacturing locations and third-party warehouses to optimize finished goods transfer schedule and ensure on-time replenishment Execute daily tracking of transferred goods and adjust schedule accordingly Help maintain master planning data to best utilize our ERP planning system Create supply schedules and communicate them to the plants/warehouses along with any changes as needed Review monthly supply plans and ensure they are feasible Work closely with Production Planning to align on raw material requirements Schedule deliveries to align with productions schedule needs while coordinating with the Logistics team to ensure feasibility of transportation on desired dates Coordinate with Site Buyers to understand current inventory, stocking footprints, and POs scheduled to deliver Strictly manage delivery dates in SAP to support accuracy of downstream Available to Promise (ATP) Maintain daily contact with plant Shipping, Carriers, Customer Service, and Suppliers regarding information on scheduled shipments and product availability Assist the plants with issues involving receiving shipments   Process Monitoring and Management.
Participate in all necessary supply planning related meetings Manage the relationship with all Site Buyers, Production Planners, and Customer Service to closely coordinate PO and STO management in coordination with the operational needs Monitor plant raw material inventory levels to ensure they meet all working capital requirements   Project and process improvement activities.
Proactively seek out opportunities to exceed Customer Service, working capital, and cost targets Provide ad hoc data analysis and reporting to the business as needed Support the new product development process through participation on NPD teams, work on product introductions, transitions, etc.

Bachelor’s degree required 3+ years Planning and scheduling experience in a warehouse/shipping and manufacturing environment required 2+ years SAP ERP system knowledge or equivalent systems experience required Supply planning and/or MRP planning knowledge in a manufacturing environment preferred   Preferred or desired qualifications · Proficient in SAP (Advance Planning Model is a plus) · Excellent problem solving, organizing, negotiating, and general “people skills” in dealing with external and internal contacts · Strong working knowledge of Warehouse / Shipping and Production Department policies, procedures, and operations.
