What you’ll do      The Strategy team at Vodafone UK play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the company's long-term objectives, driving growth, innovation, and competitive advantage in the telecommunications industry.
The Strategy team leverage comprehensive market analysis, strategic planning, and collaboration with key stakeholders to identify emerging opportunities, anticipate industry trends, and formulate actionable strategies that propel the company forward in a dynamic and competitive marketplace.
The Strategy Specialist is responsible for supporting the teams mission to be a trusted advisor to the General Management Team (GMT), driving insight for the business and providing perspectives on issues with material P&L impact.
Key accountabilities include.
Support the delivery of strategy projects, contributing to the development of robust fact bases and recommendations.
Contribute to the development of complex quantitative analyses according to good model-building principles.
Carry out desk research on a wide array of subjects accurately and quickly.
Develop effective networks for gathering information across the organisation.
Keep up to date on developments in telco and adjacent industries, contributing perspectives to the broader team.
Who you are      Commercially focussed with a naturally curious and innovative mindset.
Good quantitative skills.
Ability to deal with a wide range of stakeholders and high levels of ambiguity.
Positive can-do attitude, willingness to take personal responsibility for delivering objectives and hunger to learn.
Telecommunications / TMT knowledge and interest is desirable.
Some experience or educational background in Economics, Finance & Accounting, Commercial or Product Strategy is desirable, but we’re open to a wide range of experience or educational backgrounds.
