Vista is proud of being a world-class controllership organization and we are seeking a highly motivated and driven Staff Accountant to join the controllership team.
This role will support the accurate recording of accounting activities for various legal entities within the Vista business unit, including reporting and compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
In addition, the role includes involvement in global accounting activities and business support in areas such as global marketing accrual as well as participation in initiatives to continuously improve processes and way of working.
The role will report to the finance manager.
What You Will Do.
Ensure timely and accurate preparation and processing of journal entries (with appropriate supporting documentation) for various month end tasks and accounting transactions Monitor and analyze throughout the month major accrual balances to ensure completeness and accuracy of financial data.
Perform related ad-hoc analysis and statistics upon request from management.
Collaborate in accounting activities for various legal entities across different jurisdictions and liaise with external advisors to ensure compliance with local regulations.
Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations (SOX, US GAAP) and assist in documentation and monitoring of internal controls for areas of responsibility.
Play an active role in improving existing processes through process change or automation Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external customers Assist in other finance functions as needed   Your Qualifications.

Bachelor’s or higher degree in Accounting or Finance 2-3 years of experience in fast paced general accounting department and/or in external audit St rong understanding of accounting theory High level of English Proficient in the use of MS Excel Ability to independently complete multiple time-sensitive tasks Highly organized with close attention to details Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Energetic and a strong team player   Nice to Have.
Knowledge of US GAAP and SOX Experience with indirect taxes (VAT) Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems is highly preferred     Why You'll Love Working Here.
