What we’re looking for.
We’re looking for an experienced  Senior QA Automation Engineer  with a background in developing interactive and customer-facing software.
The ideal candidate has a passion for coding, bringing new software to market, and keeping up with the latest in software development and technology.
You must be excited to find creative solutions to interesting coding challenges.
What you’ll do.
Advocate on behalf of the customer when assessing product quality and code quality.
Drive collaborative discussions to promote understanding of product quality.
Actively participate in all scrum rituals; stand ups, sprint planning, refinement, retrospective.
Play an active role in the refinement and estimation of features and user stories ensuring acceptance criteria is well defined and QA effort is accurately estimated.
Work with product and development teams to design and implement test strategies to deliver high quality consumer software products.
Develop and execute tests, analyse results, and communicate findings.
Develop modular and robust automated test scripts to ensure maintainability, extensibility, and scalable.
Develop and build postman scripts to test APIs.
Develop SQL queries to test data correctness.
Develop and build the test infrastructure with the DevOps team.
Coach and develop talent across the team, creating a collaborative environment.
Document the processes and best practices.
Actively research new tools/methods that could prove beneficial in the implementation of Automated Tests.
What you’ll need.
3+ years of experience in automation testing.
Familiarity with Project Management and Test Management tools such as JIRA and AIO.
Experience with writing automation tests using one of the following.
WebDriver IO, Cypress (preferred), Playwright, Selenium.
Hands-on experience in Jenkins OR any CI/CD.
(GitHub Action is a plus).
Experience in running tests on cross browser platforms like browserstack or saucelabs.
Strong interpersonal, collaboration and consultative skills.
Strong analytical thinking and problem solving.
Nice to have/opportunity to learn (depending on the team).
Familiarity with AWS services.
Experience in shell commands and logging tools like Splunk or scalyr.
Who you are.
Education qualification as graduate or postgraduate degree in Engineering is required.
Effective time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
Excellent communications skills interacting with technical and business audience’s.
Excellent organization, multitasking, and prioritization skills Must possess a willingness and aptitude to embrace new technologies/ideas and master concepts rapidly.
